Sand Art Crafts

My son wants everything he sees on TV. He has asked for Floam and Moon Sand. Has anyone tried those?

He's 5 and likes legos and such, but we don't do a LOT of crafts. And I'm not big on cleaning up messes all the time either!

  3. if by moon sand you mean the colored sand you "squirt" into water, it's pretty cool, go for it.. if not i don't know what you mean.
  4. trust me floam dosnt work at allllllll i had a friend try that and It absolutly SUCKS ON ICE! moon sand yes!
  5. I recomend MOONSAND because Floam dries out easily and between you and me,it kinda stinks...Go with moonsand :-)
  6. i've never tried that stuff but i know our walmart carries floam
  7. Floam you can now buy in Walmart, but a word of advice the stuff stinks. I bought some for my daughter and after she played with it for awhile it had a funny odor to it. The stink stuck to her hands long after she washed. I am not sure about Moon sand but if it is the stuff that you can play with in the tub/sink and it stays dry while in water go for it. Much cheaper then floam and you can rinse it away.
