How do you make hippy sand candles?..Remember those?!!!?

I'm going for a girls weekend at the beach...I've seen them but never actually made them myself!..I thought it would make a fun craft for us to do in the sand...any other ideas for fun crafts are appreciated too!...Thanks!

2. dig a hole in the sand pour inthe hot wax let it stand about and hour or so, dig around the sand and pull out, oh yea,put your wick in, you can also put different shaped molds in the sand to make different candles
3. buy your sand it comes in many colors.pour it into the bottle being careful to layer it.next pour in wax and push wick in right away while wax is hot and soft. Have fun sounds kike a cool weekend.So far as getting natural sand from the beach I would not do that.We need our beachs and using stones shells and sand depletes our natural resources.Every little bit counts.If alot of others did the same thing you might be saving some sea creatures habitat.Have fun.
