- The animators on Canadian films used a 35mm camera. http://www.nfb.ca/animation/objanim/en/films/film.php?sort=director&director=Magalh%E3es%2C+Marcos&id=16804 the film above by Spanish Animator shows step by step how he uses 10 different media to animate with this camera. You might want to watch the other animations for inspiration, the inuit one and the Jewish one won awards. I think its possible for you to animate with a digital camera. You need the free Camtasia studio 3 to edit it. Chop out film every 30 frames or something and you end up with a choppy effect like sand animators. Camtasia is actually for turning your powerpoint presentations into SWF. Camtasia 3 can be saved as a swf or a mpeg so you can burn to cd and watch on tv. I love animation too but i think it takes sooo long to create one.
