Kids crafts using rocks and sticks and stuff?

I can't figure out anything that would be good for a day camp of younger children. Any ideas?

1. Get them to make People and draw faces on the rocks and attach sticks as arms (get an adult to affix the arms with a hot glue gun) then use dryed leaves as hair and affix it with normal craft glue. Use pretty sequins and stuff to jaz them up abit. Or better still use a smaller rock for head, glue a larger rock for body and attach arms and legs to body, (using the hot glue gun to attach legs arms and head and then decorate with wool for hair and small strips of material for scarfs or hats and other things like glitter to make it sparkle. 2. depends if older and how long it is.... idd say for 1 activity is rock tumbling it takes 7-10 days with an electric 1...and another if for 14-16yr olds is smithing...research it on youtube...And 1more is potting you just need clay and a kiln and 1 of those spinning 1s....the last 1 is archery! im siked about it..get a couple of thos fiberglass bows and some none sharp arrows...well bye my work here is done...
