I'm looking for some easy but thanksgiving day crafts for kids?
I have nieces and nephews ranging in age from 6 to 13 and I am looking for some crafts that will keep them busy. I have looked online and found some interesting ones (most of which require numerous supplies. Money is tight) Do you have any favorites that went over well in previous Thanksgivings that wont cost a fortune for 6 kids? Sorry, won't let me edit after I posted. Looking for easy inexpensive Thanksgiving crafts.

- look on these websites: HGTV TLC Carol Duvall
- Well, you probably won't find an all-around craft that's as fun for the thirteen years olds as it is for the six year old. There was a huge age gap when I was growing up so that I was fourteen and my cousins were six, seven and nine. I definitely did not want to paint turkeys with them. Maybe you could rent and pop a classic movie on, like a disney flim? Coloring books are generally well liked but as with all "crafts" you need to think about the green and purple streaks that could appear on your walls.
- search for some Thanksgiving coloring pages online that you can print out. you could also get construction paper and let them make turkeys.
- a few dollars on some paint...u can use household items, such as milk cartons, paper cups, toilet paper rolls, be creative!!... u can begin making gingerbread homes....using leftover halloween candies...u can have the children make the placemats, napkin holders, etc., sock puppets, and make a puppet show...
- There are a few good thanksgiving crafts posted here: http://kidcraftclub.net/
- I receive the magazine Family Fun which has alot of great crafts for children. You can check that website at: familyfun.com Also, having 3 grandchildren I usually make cookies and have them decorate for the holiday at the time! Making cookies doesn't cost any extra money b/c we usually make cookies anyway! Good crafting!
