kids crafts?

I have found many sites that have crafts but they take to long and i have a 2 and 4 year old. Does anyone have or know of a site that has simple but fun crafts for kids. i need something to keep them entertained all summer. thanks in advance duct tape - that was a great idea i never thought of making snack time a time for them to be creative and thanks for all the websites

1. well i dont know of a site but u can easily get play dough all kids love play dough =] i hope that helped
2. have you tried enchantedlearning.com? They have all sorts of stuff for preschoolers. When my son was two I cut a bunch of pictures from magazines and I would give him a glue stick and paper and tell him to sort and glue all of one thing...ie...find all the pictures of the dogs and glue them. More quick and easy ideas are: 1. Use a paper plate and tell them to draw/color a meal on it. 2. Make macarroni necklaces 3. Draw a squiggle on a piece of paper and tell them to make something out of it. 4. For your 4 year old-have them go to starfall.com. They have great letter activities and online stories. 3. I taught "life skills" and basic school prep for ages 2-4 for a few years and I found google is a VERY good resource when it comes to projects. If you have a basic idea of what you want, google has it. Also, never underestimate the 2 year olds ability to grasp science, kids LOVE science projects, and you feel good about teaching them concepts they will use later. (For example, one my kids LOVED was to take regular paintbrushes, cups of water, and let them draw on the sidewalk, when they "disappeared" we talked about evaporation.) One last thing, to save you time AND energy and to watch the creative juices flow, make your afternoon snack a creative craft, food crafts are a HUGE hit with kids. Other ideas: Take advantage of summer programs at the local library, they are chock full of fun ideas and activities that promote reading and creative educational opportunities.
