  1. http://www.nickjr.com/crafts/index.jhtml try here there are a bunch of fun age appropriate crafts on this site. i love it.
  2. Have cupcakes and make your own icing so (s)he can mix whatever colors together and decorate the cake. I did it before and the kids loved it but it can be a little messy. PS. Make icing bags out of a zip-lock bag and cut the corner off or wax paper.
  3. hmm well heres whats coming out of my brain: spin art (if you have a spin art machine) sand art (you can do this by rubbing colored chalk against sugar or salt if you dont wanna buy sand, ive dont it before but i cant remember if i used sugar or salt XD lol sorry) make your own puzzle (draw or somehow put an image on cardboard and then cut it into interresting shapes) use paint on your computer and play with it (if your using windows, it should be in start>all programs>accessories>paint. i know macs have a paint program but i have no knowledge other than that about it lol, and if your using linux i have no idea what comes with that) use fabric paint on clothes or other material make cookies :D or any baked goods for that matter chocolate cover/drizzle pretzels and stuff (its incredibly easy, all you have to do is get some chocolate [if my memory serves correctly, don't use semi-sweet chocolate, it wont taste the same. but you can google that if you want] and melt it in your micro wave or on your stove, take a spoon and drizzle it over whatever your covering/drizzleing!! i dunno why they charge so much for that crap in stores haha) i highly reccommend splatter painting if you have an area outside to do it in and theres good weather. i do it to my old jeans sometimes and im always getting compliments on them :D if you want neon paint, i know i got some neon craft paint from michaels and it was like 59 cents a bottle i think. and i also got a glow in the dark paint that was $1.79 and it looks really cool in complete darkness! splatter painting is rather cheap, because all you need is some paint that will stain, a few brushes to splatter with, a cup of water and a paper towl (to clean the brushes), an outdoor area (or if your going to do this indoors i HIGHLY suggest you put down some old newspaper everywhere around what your splattering!!) and somethign to paint :D you can get him like a cheap solid color shirt for a few bucks at walmart or michaels or somewhere to splatter :) i hope this helps, and i hope regaurdless you have fun with whatever you do!! :D p.s. be careful if you do crayon melts, i rember burning myself on those when i was in pre-k and they hurt!! haha. just be careful not to burn yourself with those if you do it :D
